Yes, that is right. After three (3) long years of waiting, we have finally written a check to Little Tikes. We don’t have a date for completion but it should be within the next three (3) months. Prayerfully sooner.

We have had to replace two of the old windows in the education building. Can you tell a difference between the old window and new? Currently our plans do NOT include replacing all of the windows in the education building. Possible in the future we will replace them.

You may notice a line cut in the asphalt outside in the back lower parking lot. This is where they will begin to remove the asphalt of the back lower lot. Don’t forget once the lower lot is completed there will be not steps down into the building from the outside. Keep checking back for updates.

After many months of preparing and waiting, we have broken ground on the outside. Currently Yates construction is building a retaining pond. The retaining pond will disappear as soon as the construction is finished. The temporary retaining pond is a requirement from the City of Knoxville.

Our new worship center house lighting has been ordered. It will arrive next Friday. We look to have it installed over the next 3 weeks. The chandeliers will soon be gone.

The carpet looks great on the floor and walls. The carpet company did come back Thursday of this week and added carpet above the steps leading to the right and left side of the stage. This additional carpet will help to reduce the foot marks left on the wall as you go up and down the stage.

We will finish the installation of our access control system this coming week. We still have two (2) doors that need the access control equipment. One on the stair side of the fellowship hall and one on the door of High Side Drive.

We are finished with the installation of the exterior doors (Not Access Control). Pleas let Chris Cate know if you have any questions or comments regarding the doors. We are in the process of making the last payment to the door company.
