Study groups meet Sunday mornings, focus on God's word and topics relevant to the Christian life, and allow every member to participate in the ongoing discipleship process.

Connect Groups

People were made for relationships. We hunger for the deep, authentic relationships Jesus had in mind when he prayed that his followers would be one. Ridgedale strives to be a place where we travel life’s journey together through small groups.

How long does a Connect Group Last?

Connect groups are available in Spring, Summer and Fall quarters, each lasting 12 weeks.

When do Connect Groups meet?

Groups generally meet on Sunday nights from 6 to 8pm, or on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8pm. These two options come with childcare. Some groups chose other times. We try to offer as many options as possible.

How long does a Connect Group meeting last?

A typical meeting lasts 1 to 2 hours.

How is the time spent during a Connect Group?

We recommend fellowship time (5-10 minutes), opening prayer and announcements (5 minutes), bible study discussion (20 minutes), smaller pairings (10-15 minutes) and with closing prayers at the end. This is only a recommended schedule.

Can I join a group if I don’t go to Ridgedale?

Absolutely! Inform your friends, neighbors, family members, coworkers and casual acquaintances about your Connect Group. Most of our study materials are appealing to both believers and those not attending church.
