It can be said that I have many children based on the fact that I have taken care of many children all my life. I do not have any biological children, but I do have a child that I have taken care of since his birth and have raised him as my own. I have a passion for children. I really believe God blesses people with many talents and one of mine is being able to connect with children. I enjoy having the opportunity to work with all the families and children that I have come to know and love while belonging to this church family and program.

Tuesday/Thursday- 2 year old teacher
Children have always brought great joy to my life. Although I'm not a mother yet, I still have a ton of experience in working with children. I grew up in a home that was a daycare from the time I was three until most recently and since I moved out, I could not imagine doing anything else! I am in college studying for my degree in Early Childhood Education and my dream has always been to be a mother. I treat every child in my class as my own, and have a very strong passion for teaching children the Gospel. Children take the first steps in their faith at a young age so it is very important for them to have role models to look up to. I am also an avid runner, rock climber, camper, and hiker. I am excited to one day have a family that I can pass these hobbies down to! I am very blessed to be part of an incredible team at Ridgedale and cannot thank God enough for giving me this opportunity ~ James 1:2.

I love working with children. I have worked for Knox County Schools and am now retired. I have two children and four grandchildren. I am dedicated to Jesus Christ and try to demonstrate that in my life and also in my lessons. Children are so easy to love and teach about Jesus and His love. I feel honored to work at Ridgedale's Mothers Day out on Mondays and Fridays with the three year old class.

I am the mother of two wonderful girls. My greatest joy is spending time with my family. We enjoy hiking, boating, and swimming. I have worked in different children's ministries for over six years; however, I do not really consider it work. I think of it as a blessing. It is a true joy to get to know the children and their families. It is great to work with such a caring group of teachers at Ridgedale.
I have an Associate’s degree in Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Science/ K-12 Physical Education. I love Jesus, and I love life! After God, my husband, Darrick, who is a police officer and my one year old son, Dylan, are my absolute world. We love doing things as a family including fishing, swimming, going to the lake and pretty much any outdoor activity. Since my son was born, I was blessed to stay at home with him until God led me here to be the PALS teacher. I love my students and feel truly blessed to have them in my lives. Each and every one of them have a special place in my heart! I believe that all children can learn!

I am a member of Ridgedale Baptist church where I actively work in the children's ministries leading in many different roles. I enjoy spending time with my husband Brian and our children, reading, gardening, scrapbooking and outdoor activities.
I received my degree in Elementary Education from ETSU, and I am certified to teach K-8th grades. For a while I was a stay at home mom, but after a lot of thought and prayer, my husband and I decided that it was in our family's best interest for me to fulfill my dream of teaching. I love working with children and watching them grow and learn. God has blessed me with two amazing children, a son and a daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, doing crafts, and decorating cakes. I attend Grace Lutheran Church where I participate in a weekly Bible study and also lead the MOPS group (Mother's of Preschoolers). It seems that whatever I get involved in, the focus is usually children. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of the teaching team at Ridgedale Mother's Day Out.
